General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: A Video Call Could Reveal Sonny Corinthos Is Alive

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Nina almost blowing up her whole scheme of keeping Sonny’s living and breathing status unknown when Brook Lynn places a video call to her cellphone.

General Hospital Spoilers: Will Nina’s Guilt Become Too Much?

Nina (Cynthia Watros) is already feeling the weight of her lies and wonders how much longer she can keep ‘Mike’ in the dark about who he really is. She thought she was doing the right thing at first because Sonny (Maurice Benard) told her he didn’t want to know, but now she is not so sure. When he tells her that he had a flash of memory, she starts getting nervous and wonders if now is the time to come clean.

However, she knows if she does come clean, she has to do it very delicately and not allow Sonny to find out by accident what’s going on.

Nina Has To Do Some Fancy Covering

Finding out by accident is just what could happen when Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) decides that Nina should be in on Wiley’s (Erik and Theo Olson) birthday party celebration and makes a video call. Nina answers and is touched by Brook’s wishes until she realizes Sonny’s entire family is right there and if Sonny is seen by any of them on camera, the jig is up.

Nina wants to wish her grandson a happy birthday and Sonny wants to see part of her life in Port Charles, but she can’t let that happen so she has to maneuver her phone so Sonny doesn’t see Carly (Laura Wright) and Carly doesn’t see him. However, if either one of them wants to jump in on the call, she’s in big trouble.

Something tells us Nina is going to get herself out of this one because this would be a very undramatic time for everyone to learn Sonny is alive. You’d think that would happen while they are at the very least on the same set and not using FaceTime while Sonny is still on the Pennsylvania side of the river. So, Nina will get herself out of this one, but it will sure be fun to watch her do it. Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see yet another ‘Smike’ close call.
