Welcome Back, Anna Devane!
General Hospital spoilers for the week of June 22-26 reveal that after months of being off canvas, Anna Devane will return, as fan favorite Finola Hughes reprises the role.
Viewers will first see Anna back in storylines this Wednesday, June 24, as she meets with her doctors.
Then, during the Friday, June 26 show, Anna will take a huge risk. Will she once again attempt to escape her mental health facility in France?
It sounds like this time, she’ll be successful and head straight to Port Charles! Anna was last seen in February of this year.
Major Return News
Speaking of returns, the ABC soap finally announced when fans can expect to see Jason Morgan back in storylines.
According to reports, Steve Burton is back on set filming, and Jason’s first appearance is set for Monday, July 13.
Jason has been off canvas since late March, as Burton took a brief break from the soap to enjoy time with his family and new wife.
In addition, Robert Gossett will be returning to storylines as Marshall Ashford this coming July … just in time for his newest grandchild’s arrival!
Lastly, Jequan Jackson is slated for a comeback as Quinn. Audiences may recall that Quinn was a football friend of Kai Taylor’s (Jens Austin Astrup) and wasn’t overly supportive of his romance with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
Will Quinn’s return cause friction between Kai and Trina?
New Character Alert
General Hospital fans watched a new character jump into storylines this week, as actor Matt Merchant stepped into the part of WSB Agent Harker, a crony of WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).
It’s important to note, this is a recurring role. Merchant played a henchman of Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) in 2013.
