General Hospital Comings & Goings July 6-10: Multiple Exits, Major Returns + More
General Hospital spoilers indicate some massive moments during the week of July 6-10, as well as some fun casting news to report!
Find out who’s coming and who’s going from the ABC soap over the next five days, below.
Ross Cullum’s Explosive Exit
General Hospital spoilers remind fans that June 29-July 3 was a big week for exits.
As the cold fusion storyline came to a close in an explosive fashion, WSB Director Ross Cullum, played by Andrew Hawkes, officially departed from the canvas.
During the Thursday, July 2 episode, he was shot by Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Hawkes began his run in January of this year and was only expected to be in three shows, which were then extended to six to eight.
When all was said and done, Hawkes ended up filming approximately 40 episodes.
When asked by Soap Opera Digest (SOD) about a possible return to General Hospital, as either a new character or Cullum’s ghost, Hawkes replied, “I’d say yes in a heartbeat.”
So Long, Cassius Faison
General Hospital fans found out during the Friday, July 3 show that Cassius Faison, played by Ryan Paevey, had also died.
Nathan West’s twin brother, who was parading around town as the man since September 2025, was also shot during the Thursday, July 2 episode.
Still, is Cassius really dead, or is the WSB hiding this fact to sign him on as an agent?
Cassius’ return to the canvas, all considering, seems like it could happen, so only time will tell.
Peter August Returns
Peter August, played by Wes Rasmey, made a return to storylines as a hallucination during the close of July 2.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was given the green light to return home after a lengthy stay at a mental health facility in France.
After exposing Cassius as Nathan’s twin brother, her doctors felt like she was finally able to distinguish fact and fantasy.
She then made arrangements to fly home with Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner).
After Felicia left Anna’s room at the clinic, Peter appeared hinting that Anna may not be as ‘recovered’ as she claims to be.
It looks like the Peter hallucination character could become a thing, as Rasmey is in preview pictures for the week of July 6.
Vaughn’s Comeback
Bryce Durfee, who plays Vaughn in the show, also reappeared on canvas during the July 3 show.
He was conducting official WSB business while meeting with Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke), Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), and “their lawyer,” Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos).
The teens wanted to know where their dads were, and Vaughn is looking into the idea of them gaining some form of communication.
He also met with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) while she was locked in jail at the PCPD.
Vaughn was last seen in November 2025 when Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) hauled him out of town for defying orders.
The character was told to stay away from Joss, as the two developed a relationship while working on an assignment; however, Joss and Vaughn continued to fool around, which is why he was taken to work on another WSB job.
Durfee debuted on the ABC soap in March 2025, helping Joss with her WSB training.
Z Arrives
Last Week Tonight host, John Oliver, stepped into the role of “Z”, the WSB Head that’s been mentioned on canvas multiple times in recent weeks.
Z arrived in a black helicopter and took control of the situation that had gotten out of hand on Spoon Island.
He was seen during the July 2 and 3 shows, and fans can expect to see him during the Monday, July 6 episode as well.
