Let’s break down what provokes Liesl back to the dark side!
Obrecht’s past is riddled with mistakes but she’s tried, and succeeded, in making amends. However, like most humans, when times turn bad it’s easy to fall back into old habits. And that is exactly what happens with Liesl.
Liesl’s Animosity
Fans saw Liesl yell at her jailed daughter Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) in the July 3 episode.
That’s because Britt didn’t tell her mom that Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) was impersonating his twin brother, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and that she was working on a cold fusion project.
Britt was blackmailed into the project in exchange for Huntington’s meds and Obrecht ranted that she would have reverse-engineered the medication if she’d known about it.
Liesl and Britt On the Outs
Fans now know that the Huntington’s diagnosis was fake but Britt has yet to discover this.
In the meantime, Obrecht is done with Britta based on her lies.
She stormed away from Britt saying that she would focus her love and attention on Cassius not knowing that he is dead (or is he?).
We learned from WSB head Z (John Oliver) that Cassius is dead but some fans aren’t buying that.
Is Cassius Really Dead?
Long story short, Obrecht will hit a rough patch when she discovers that both her sons are dead and her daughter is a serial liar.
At the same time she will be broken up that James West (Gary James Fuller) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are distraught about Nathan/Cassius and she will hit rock bottom.
But wait, there’s more!
Obrecht Lashes Out
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is prepared to tell the world that Cassius was a bad guy who teamed up with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and that Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) was a good guy.
When Obrecht discovers Josslyn’s betrayal she will hit the roof. Especially since both women semi-bonded while being held prisoner by Cullum.
Will Cassius Return?
Spicy General Hospital spoilers indicate that Liesl is in for some heartbreak and as a result she will travel down a dark path.
