General Hospital Comings & Goings August 11-15: Fan Favorite Not Going Anywhere, Brotherly Love
General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest some major moments in Port Charles during the week of August 11-15, as well as a flurry of casting news! Find out who’s ‘coming’ and who’s ‘going’ from the ABC soap over the next five days (and beyond), below.
Lois Cerullo Stays Put
General Hospital fans were a tad concerned when Rena Sofer, who plays Lois Cerullo on the ABC soap opera, announced on social media that she and hubby, Sanford Bookstaver, were moving from L.A. to New York.
As the daytime drama films in Los Angeles, many believed that this was the end of Lois’s run in PC.
After all, her daughter, Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) banished her from both the Quartermaine mansion and Deception recently.
According to Soap Opera Digest (SOD), Sofer will be commuting from New York to L.A. when needed.
In fact, there are other GH cast members who do this, as Rick Hearst (Ric Lansing) commutes from New Jersey, and Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) plans on commuting once she settles in her new Tennessee home.
SOD also reports that Sofer has plans to shoot more GH episodes on the horizon. It’s important to note that Sofer is a recurring player on the soap and is not on contract.
Additional Casting Notes
Fans can expect to see more of Finn Carr, as his character, Rocco Falconeri, has scenes with his biological brother, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) during the Wednesday, August 13 show.
In addition, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will continue with her storyline during the Thursday, August 14 show, as she gives Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) advice on how to “fight” for his relationship with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
With that said, Stella should watch her own back, as Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is gunning for some revenge against Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), and it looks like he’s planning on using Stella to unleash this vengeance.

Drew going after Stella could be his lowest stunt yet. An old lady who has never done anything to him, and who has nothing to do with his problems with Curtis. Plus, big deal, she pulled a few strings to help Marty with his insurance. Who here hasn’t had, or doesn’t know someone whose had, trouble with an insurance company not wanting to pay what they should? I could have used a “Stella” a couple of times. If Curtis went after Monica or Scout to hurt Drew (which he wouldn’t) it would be comparable to what Drew is doing. When is somebody gonna shoot this pig? Or end him somehow? I don’t care WHO or HOW, but PLEASE, SOMEBODY just do it already!
