General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal the comings and goings for the week of June 17, 2024. John J. York returns as Mac Scorpio, Perez Hilton will make a guest appearance and Kin Shriner and Lynn Herring are back as Scott Baldwin and Lucy Coe.
General Hospital Spoilers: John J. York As Mac Is Back!
Get ready for an exciting comeback as John J. York makes his triumphant return as Mac Scorpio-after a long medical leave, the beloved character is finally back on the scene.
Since last October, Mac has been away on important business matters while John received treatment for blood and bone marrow disorders.
It was a challenging journey as John was diagnosed with two serious illnesses, myelodysplastic syndromes and multiple smoldering myeloma, both types of bone marrow cancer.
However, luck was on his side when donor matches were found in November 2023 and John underwent a successful transplant in December 2023, paving the way for his grand return.
Keep an eye out for Mac’s reappearance on Wednesday, June 19, where he’ll share heartwarming scenes with his onscreen “daughter,” Maxie (Kirsten Storms).
GH Spoilers: Perez Hilton Appears
Blogger Perez Hilton appears in a guest appearance, although details are few as to if he’s playing himself or another character.
However, GH’s announcement on its social media platforms describe him as a very inquisitive guest-and they can’t wait for viewers to see what’s in store.
Perez Hilton is an American blogger, columnist, and media personality recognized for his blog that focuses on celebrity gossip and tabloid photos with his personal touch.
He embellishes photos with captions and doodles-viewers can probably expect him to be an associate of The Invader gossip columnist Adrian DeWitt, played by Dieterich Gray.
General Hospital Spoilers: Kin Shriner And Lynn Herring Return
Port Charles’ favorite ambulance chaser Scotty Baldwin and his sometimes loony sidekick Lucy Coe are back on Tuesday, June 18 in the persons of Kin Shriner and Lynn Herring.
Lucy will have a legal issue with which Scotty will confer with her about. This probably tracks back to her trying to wrest the cosmetics company she helped found, “Deception Cosmetics” back from Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) after her conspiring with Blair Cramer (Kassie DePaiva).
The storyline dropped off abruptly when there was a change in writers about the time that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) returned to Port Charles in a much publicized move.
With more behind the scenes writers changes and drama, it looks like the storyline is being revived.
