General Hospital Comings and Goings: Lexi Ainsworth Reveals Future As Kristina

General Hospital comings and goings reveal fans seeing more of Kristina Corinthos than they have in a long time. It looks Lexi Ainsworth may be back for the long term.

General Hospital Spoilers: Where Has Kristina Been?

As far as Port Charles is concerned, Kristina Corinthos has just been tending bar and running things at Charlie’s Pub for months, but she was doing it off-screen. However, we have seen her several times just in the last few weeks and it looks like we will be seeing her more.

Kristina may not have a storyline (yet) but her presence on-screen is essential as she is the daughter of two long-time favorites, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). That is exactly who we have seen her with of late, and it makes sense to see her.

After Sonny returned from the dead nearly a year ago, Kristina had only been seen a handful of times, including when she told Sonny that Carly Corinthos (Nancy Lee Grahn) wasn’t showing up for their big date at The Haunted Star. That led to Sonny sleeping with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and the rest is divorce history.

Lexi Ainsworth Is Thrilled To Be Back

While GH didn’t seem to need her, Ainsworth took the opportunity to travel and visit Europe, but now that she is back in Los Angeles, she is back on the General Hospital set.

“I did a few episodes and I’ve got another one booked, so I do plan on coming back and doing more…Every time I come back, it’s like no time has passed,” she observes. “We always kind of just pick up where we left off. It was great to catch up with Nancy [Lee Grahn, Alexis] and Kelly [Monaco, Sam] and Haley [Pullos, Molly],” Ainsworth told Soap Opera Digest.”

I always love having scenes with them, especially because the scenes with the Davis girls tend to be pretty light and have humor involved, which is refreshing. And, of course, I love working with Maurice [Benard, Sonny]. We just have this real-life connection with each other and I think people can see that on screen. It’s just heartfelt and real; I just look into his eyes and I can cry or laugh. It’s always great getting to work with him.”

Hopefully, the new episodes that Ainsworth has yet to film will give Kristina something to do rather than be a talk-to for her family members. Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see what comes next for Kristina.
