General Hospital Comings and Goings: A New Jordan Ashford Is On The Way

General Hospital comings and goings reveal Jordan Ashford returning to the Port Charles fold with a brand-new actress playing the part.

General Hospital Spoilers: Get Used To Another NuJordan

Actress Tanish Harper has been cast as the latest Jordan Ashford on General Hospital, as Briana Nicole Henry left the role last year following a three-year run. Jordan was originally played by Vinessa Antoine from 2014-2018, who left the soap to star in the Canadian primetime series, Diggstown.

Harper’s previous credits include a role on Hulu’s Dollface and HBO’s Hacks. She also appeared on Dear White People and Forgetting Sarah Marshall. The actress has also been a model, as is the norm for many performers trying to make it big in Hollywood.

What Will Jordan Do Now?

When we last saw Jordan, her one remaining kidney had been damaged and she had to go off to a special treatment facility out of town, but she’s been mentioned again recently, which was a hint that she’d be back soon. As far as we know Jordan and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) are still not technically divorced as Aunt Stella (Vernee Watson) stole their divorce papers, had a stroke, and never mailed them when she meant to. Ooops! How will Jordan and Curtis feel about this surprise development?

While Jordan has been gone, Curtis has gotten more and more involved with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and the pair are considering moving in with one another now after finally making love on New Year’s Eve. Curtis also learned his father is alive and living in Port Charles, so Jordan has a lot of drama to come home to.

Will she get her job back as police commissioner, a job she was unbelievably incredibly bad at or will the PCPD realize they are much better off with Mac Scorpio (John J. York) in charge? Jordan is also mother to TJ Ashford and hopefully, Harper seems like she can be his mother as Briana Nicole Henry always looked too young to have an adult son. We do know whenever Jordan does make her way home with a new face, Curtis will certainly be surprised. Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see the new Jordan Ashford arrive
