For starters, Gregory Harrison is back on Thursday, May 19 as Gregory Chase. He’ll be seen with Jophielle Love’s Violet Finn who plays his granddaughter. For a while there it looked like Violet’s dad Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and his dad Gregory would be forever on the outs. Luckily it was cleared up that Gregory, not Finn, is the father of Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) making Finn the brother of the detective. It’s complicated.

Stephanie Erb temporarily replaced Nancy Lee Grahn as Alexis Davis while the latter was recovering from back surgery. She filled in in a fantastic manner, picking up a red-hot storyline in the middle of the sizzling action. Kudos to Erb!
Erb has reportedly ended her run as perpetually conflicted Alexis Davis, look for Grahn to be back in the role soon.
General Hospital Spoilers – The Week Of May 16, 2022, Brings A Newbie
News broke this week that One Life To Live alum Josh Kelly (Cutter Wentworth) has been cast on the ABC sudser in an undisclosed contract role. According to Deadline, the character will affect the lives of a trio of PC mainstays: Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco,) Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
This little tidbit got fans flocking to social media to speculate like mad that Kelly is a recast for Jason Morgan, a role formerly played by Steve Burton.
The week of May 16, 2022, Brings Rumors and Intrigue
Jason Morgan is a legacy, front-burner character that Burton portrayed for decades. He left the show after ABC mandated that all employees must receive the COVID vax. Fans have not stopped calling for his return, could it be that the show has pivoted and gone the recast route?

If Jason Morgan is not played by Steve Burton, just leave him died. No one can replace him.
Do not recast Jason. With all the vaccine rules it's time to lighten up on the mandates ABC... Everyone else has!

People are still wearing masks and yes it's slowed down and again it's picking up, would you or anyone you care about kiss , touch hug face to face without a vaccination? Watch him on his new soap as this was his choice and only his choice,,,his religion...he said and a Doctors excuse???? that truly takes away his respect for all the people he worked with and much luck to him on his new adventure...Everyone likes him but putting other people at risk ...NO WAY!

Big mistake to recast Jason. Steve Burton IS Jason.
Steve Burton should never have been terminated for not getting the vaccine. It is unconstitutional to force somebody to put something in their body.
It’s a shame that those who preach ‘my body my choice’ only apply it to what suits their narrative.
