And, last but not least, Steve Burton is returning to GH after a one-year stint as Harris Michaels on Peacock’s Days of our Lives.

Last week he announced his exit from DOOL and one day later, after the rumor blew up with suspense, he broke the internet with the news that he’s reprising his role as Jason Morgan.

On Thursday the ABC’s primetime special General Hospital: 60 Years of Stars & Storytelling showed Burton wishing the show “Happy anniversary, General Hospital” then teased “Stay tuned — big things are coming to Port Charles.” Burton debuted in 1991 as Jason Quartermaine but after a DUI crash caused by his brother, he reinvented himself as Jason Morgan, and the rest is stone cold history.
