General Hospital spoilers, news, and updates tease that Vinessa Antoine has landed a new gig. The actress, who played Jordan Ashford, will take on the role of Simone in Netflix’s dramedy Ginny & Georgia Season 2.
In an Instagram post, the actress wrote, “The wait is over!” She shared behind-the-scenes photos of her with the other cast members.
“Shaking things up a bit for Zion and Georgia in season two,” she added. Antoine is taking on the role of Simone, Zion’s girlfriend.
GINNY & GEORGIA follows the story of Ginny Miller. The teenager thinks and behaves more maturely than her mom, Georgia. The mother and daughter move to the New England community while Zion, Ginny’s father, and Georgia’s ex-boyfriend, settle down in Boston to be closer to her daughter.
“Special thank you to our director, Sharon Lewis, for letting me also tag along to shadow her this season as a director,” Antoine said.
“I’m forever grateful to you, [series creator] Sarah Lampert, [showrunner] Debra J. Fisher, writer Angela Nissel, and the entire cast and crew for this opportunity!” he continued.
Antoine joined the cast of General Hospital back in 2014. She left the show in 2018 and joined the cast of DIGGSTOWN. Her role in the Canadian primetime series made her the first Canadian black woman to star in a TV series.

General Hospital spoilers suggest that Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) vengeance may be unleashed when she discovers the extent of Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) role in the tragedy surrounding Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). Could this news spark conflict between two formidable forces, leading to a dramatic showdown?
Liesl feels isolated now with Britt and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) gone. No one can ever replace her children, even if Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) are still on her side. She may think about stealing Esme Prince’s (Avery Phol) baby. The child may not replace her kids but it may make her feel better. Not to mention, Esme’s not a mother material anyway, plus the fact that she plans to give her baby to a more suitable mom.
Liesl will feel guilty when it comes to Britt’s childhood. She didn’t give her the affection she needed. She tried to make up for it later on but she can’t fix the past.
