General (GH) Hospital Spoilers: Leisl’s Disappearance Could Mean Willow’s Death!
General Hospital spoilers tease that Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) very life has been hanging by the thread for almost a year now. Willow was diagnosed with leukemia last year but she was also pregnant at the time. Willow opted to forego treatment in order to keep her baby safe. There was some hope that once the baby was born they could harvest stem cells from the baby’s umbilical cord, but there weren’t enough cells to harvest.
General Hospital Spoilers – The Search For A Bone Marrow Donor!
At that point, Willow’s best hope was to find a bone marrow donor. It was also during this time that Willow discovered Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was her biological mother. And while Nina wasn’t a match, her aunt Dr. Leisl O’Brecht (Kathleen Gati) was. But Leisl was taking anti-coagulant medication and had to be taken off that before she could donate. Once the drug was out of Leisl’s system, she was scheduled to have her marrow harvested the day after the Nurses’ Ball.
GH Spoilers – Victor Cassadine Has Other Plans For Leisl O’Brecht!
Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is in love with Leisl. He has mysterious, and likely diabolical plans in order to “save the world”. Exactly what those plans are still remains a mystery although it somehow involves diamonds from the Ice Princess. Rumor has it that Victor may be trying to bring about another Ice Age as his family threatened to do decades ago. Whatever his plans, he kidnapped Leisl the night of the Nurses Ball!
General Hospital Spoilers – Willow Tait’s Life Is In Jeopardy!
For every moment Leisl is kept hostage, Willow’s life expectancy will decrease. She is practically at death’s door already so if Leisl isn’t rescued soon, Willow will most certainly die. Look for an unlikely hero to step up to rescue Leisl. Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) is also madly in love with Leisl and will move heaven and earth to bring her home safely. Hopefully, she will be returned safe and sound in time to save Willow and Scotty can finally be the hero of the story!
