Cameron Mathison Shares Behind The Scenes Of Arctic Movie
Behind the scenes with Cameron Mathison shows how movie magic creates an Arctic winter using foam and clever filming.

Cameron Mathison is back from a spring break vacation and got straight back to work. Currently, the real-life Drew Cain from General Hospital is busy filming, but also finds the time to post on social media. Read on to see something that some people didn’t know.
Behind The Scenes In The Arctic
On Thursday, the General Hospital star shared a look at his project for Great American Family, and it involves a lot of special magic to make it all look real. The film’s called An Accidental Arctic Christmas. Apparently, the filming takes place in Canada.
When he shared about it on Instagram, Cameron told his fans, “Day 1 on set:) More Christmas to come.”
Plus, Cameron Mathison posted a series of photos from the set of An Accidental Arctic Christmas. While the movie follows his character, Jim, getting stranded in a frozen tundra, the filming is a bit more about the grind.

One photo showed Cameron Mathison smiling in front of the cameras and also showed some of the crew. But something else caught the eye of GH and Christmas movie fans. One photo showed the application of the fake snow to make everything look magical.
Fake snow
The picture of the snow didn’t show the crew member’s face, but it did show it being spread around. He used a specialized sort of wand to spray thick, white foam over the ground. Certainly, it looked real enough.
Of course, the snow is important because according to Woman’s World, the film follows a “timing mishap” that leaves Jim and his daughter stuck in an Arctic town. So, yeah, the fake snow really needs to look authentic.
The storyline goes along the lines of Mathison, acting as Jim, a broadcaster, who gets stranded with his daughter, Isla, during an Arctic cruise. Eventually, they cross paths with a conservationist played by Jill Wagner.
