The Backlash Is Harsh
Cameron, who acts so well that a large number of General Hospital fans detest him, previously mentioned how the hate for his character impacted his personal life. While many people hoped for his exit, preferably a violent one, now that he’s been shot by an assailant, folks feel angry.
Where is the anger coming from? It seems that because he claimed he wasn’t about to exit the daytime drama, many people are accusing him of lying. Two weeks ago, Top Soaps reported that on Instagram, when asked if he was about to exit, he replied, “No.”
General Hospital fans have long memories, and because of his critical condition on the show, the backlash on his social media seems extremely harsh.
The Accusations & Hate
A day ago, Cameron Mathison took to his Instagram to promote a series of videos on his side hustle, Health 360. If you don’t know, he described it as “training in qualities like love, compassion, generosity, patience, and wisdom [which] are just as essential as training the body.”
While a lot of people discussed the need for that sort of mindset, others attacked the real-life Drew Cain. One of them wrote, in part:
why did you lie to everyone when they ask you if you were leaving #GH you kept telling everyone No you were not leaving #GH but after today’s promo for this week episodes of #GH who killed #DrewCain you are definitely leaving #GH so what’s the truth cameron[?]
