Fans Are Calling This Character’s Return ‘A Joke’
Clearly, we are talking about Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) return to Port Charles. As many of our readers already know, actor Steve Burton, who plays the character on the hit ABC soap, announced that he was taking a break from the role back in March of this year.
But now that he’s back, unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like many people really care. That, or others simply didn’t pay attention. That’s how much people have stopped caring about Jason, apparently.
It seems though a lot of people saw Jason’s returning scenes are so underwhelming that they are actually disappointed that it’s come to this. After all, Jason Morgan has always been considered a legacy character, right?
Of course, GH fans certainly did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some even commented with, “They left out his returning was one single episode only seen by Tracy and Danny before he was gone again. Did he record the scene before he left? I read he was taping again in June. No way Jason would have seen Carly before leaving again.
What about Brit? He finds out she not dying so its over? Lol I want Jason back full time.
Another critic wrote, “I was thinking the same about him saving Drew, which would absolutely prove to Drew that Jason meant what he said, about a fresh start.”
What’s Next For Jason Morgan?
“Apparently they now rotate actors in & out, cutting their costs. I’m almost positive that his salary is closest to Maurice Bernard’s salary so simply put we got played!”
And then there was this comment as well: “I’d guess the scenes of Jason’s return were filmed after his return in June and edited into the 16,000th episode, which would have been filmed weeks earlier. At least we didn’t get months of Jason being held prisoner playing cards.”
