Nina Reeves’ Desperate Actions
General Hospital spoilers for Friday, July 24 remind fans that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) pushed Drew into the lake at the close of the show.
She was desperate to keep him from blabbing about all that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) had done to him. As Willow had run out of the paralytic medications that were keeping Drew in his “locked-in” state, Drew was gaining mobility at rapid speeds. As such, Nina needed to do something drastic.
Added teasers for Monday, July 27 suggest that Gio will save Drew when he goes out to the Quartermaine boathouse for a swim. As such, Nina’s plan to rid the world of Drew will come back to bite her in the butt. It looks like Nina will turn to Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) for help to cover up her terrible deed. So, what happens next?
General Hospital’s Promo Clues
General Hospital’s promo for the week of July 27 offers some insight. Nina will run to Brennan looking for assistance, and they’ll head back to the scene of the crime at the Quartermaine boathouse.
Still, it sounds like Drew won’t be there, but Gio will be! There’s a clip during the preview that shows Brennan demanding to know where Drew is; however, it appears that Gio may not tell the WSB Chief.
Gio’s a good person, but he’s also a smart young man. Will the way both Nina and Brennan conduct themselves cause red flags for Gio? Will he suspect that Nina was the one who threw Drew into the lake? This may cause Gio to backpedal or even refuse to answer their questions.
Gio knows that Drew is vile, but Gio is also fiercely loyal when it comes to family. Depending on what Drew tells Gio when he wakes up from being given CPR, Gio may feel as if it’s his duty to keep his uncle away from Nina and Brennan.
