General Hospital Spoilers: Three Couples We Expect to See Take Shape By Summer
General Hospital spoilers gossip Port Charles is gearing up for a Summer of love just a wee bit in advance. While things might look a little grim right now for many of our favorite characters, I think Winter is about to pass, and Spring will usher in butterflies and romance.
The seasons tend to transform relationships in Port Chuck, and this year will be no different, though more danger might present itself before all is said and done.
But these folks are used to that. For one favorite character, it may involve danger of persecution; for another, risk to their hearts; and the last, risk to the future they may not have. Who do you see hooking up at the weather warms, and will these new relationships last, or come to pass?
Carly Cassadine Calling?
The mere idea of Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) becoming more than co-conspirators dawned on me as soon as she sought his help at Steinmauer. Why? Well, Carly falls for every guy she gets close to, and always has a soft spot for those who ‘rescue’ her in some way.
Valentin helping her get her daughter out of the WSB was bound to score some points. Now, they’ve made it into the bedroom, and they’re still entangled outside of it. All signs point to these two rising out of the impending storm together.
I think Valentin will be exonerated, and can truly see this pair ending up being taken quite seriously. Wedding bells, anyone?
Tracy Settles Down
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) has been getting comfortable in her own skin as the new Quartermaine family matriarch recently. Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleston) passing left an indelible mark, and Tracy is carrying those lessons learned fighting with Monica into her future.
This means meeting people where they are more often than demanding they arrive at her center of the universe, and choosing compassion over contempt.
One such person she’s given that grace to when he may not have deserved it was Martin ‘Marty’ Gray (Michael E. Knight). After their recent conversation about the greatest loves of their lives, it’s safe to say they’re not completely polarized anymore. But will they warm to each other enough to take a chance on love again — together? I think so!
Britt Moves on From Jason
The biggest hit on this list might be Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). Planning to take off with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was kind of the highlight of her life lately.
Another adventure with Jason in Canada, reminiscent of their past and stirring all those familiar emotions. All of that comes to a screeching halt now as Jason is captured and Britt is left in the dust.
By the time he comes back in July, a leaker claims Britt might not be waiting for him as they won’t be a couple anymore.
So, who might nurse her broken heart back to health this Spring? I’m suggesting Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is surprisingly going to end up being an option, which will make things super crazy if the leak is true that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is returning, and may return with Jason!
