General Hospital Spoilers: Britt Came Clean with (SPOILER) Will He Betray Her Trust?
General Hospital spoilers report Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) talked themselves into a tizzy over dinner and champagne, and ultimately neither knew who would be paying the bill.
But as fun as it was to see these two back in action and giggling together, I couldn’t help but wonder why Britt was opening up to Brad so easily as though no time had passed.
It seems that old habits die hard and she still trusts her bestie, even though she didn’t trust him enough to let him know she was still alive.
That being said, Brad clearly has designs on getting Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) back; that hasn’t changed. In fact, Brad’s first question after sitting down with Britt was how it’s going working with Lucas. The obvious next question is whether
Britt Dropped a Bomb
Britt didn’t waste any time dropping the tasty morsel that is Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) name onto the table. It didn’t seem premeditated like she had any designs on wetting Brad’s appetite with this information.
In fact, Brad having any interest in his ex was the furthest thing from her mind, and she probably didn’t think that Brad was keeping tabs on every family member of his ex-hubs news boyfriend either.
Still, she didn’t hold back after she realized Brad was salivating over this idle gossip either.\
GH Spoilers Tease Brad Reacted
Instantly, Brad knew just who the Britch was talking about. Sidwell’s name might be notorious among law enforcement and white collar criminals, but Brad hardly runs in either of those circles.
Britt could read the expression all over Brad’s face though; she knew instantly that he was connecting the dots to Marco Rios’ (Adrian Anchondo) dad.
Once she let him know just how dangerous things got in Croatia, Brad was keen on hearing more — especially if it meant he could link Sidwell’s behavior to Marco. I saw him crafting that narrative in his mind; didn’t you?
What Comes Next?
My primary concern is that Brad might take his bestie coming back from beyond for granted, and he could use her intel on Sidwell — and his son — to make a play for his ex-husband. Of course, that’s not going to be as simple as he might like, because Britt is hardly on the same page.
She doesn’t like Lucas and probably wouldn’t be down with helping Brad get back together with him even if it wasn’t a major risk for her.
She’s relying on her alliance with Sidwell to keep her Huntington’s symptoms in remission, and she’s not about to jeopardize her life — or the quality of it — so Brad can try for the millionth time to win Lucas over.
