General Hospital Spoilers: John Has Much To Answer For To A Furious Anna
General Hospital spoilers tease that John Cates (Adam Harrington) isn’t the same man who went by “Jagger” and lived in Port Charles many years ago. Now he’s an FBI agent who knows much more about Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) than it appeared at first glance.
Of course, Jason and John were friends years ago before Jason’s accident and brain injury. That’s when Jason changed from medical student Jason Quartermaine to Mob Enforcer Jason Morgan. So while John knows exactly who Jason, it wouldn’t necessarily work both ways.
General Hospital Spoilers – Jason Morgan is alive and well!
As viewers know, Jason recently returned to Port Charles after being presumed dead for two years. John had also come back to town because of his assignment with the FBI.
John is working on a case involving assassination attempts on various members of organized crime families, including Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard).
When Jason was revealed to be alive, John seemed just as surprised as anyone else. But Jason recently had a flashback that told quite a different story.
GH Spoilers – John Cates blackmailed Jason Morgan
The FBI found Jason after he was believed to have been killed in a cave in. on Cassadine Island. He was taken to FBI Headquarters in Quantico.
That’s where Jason and John first encountered each other for the first time in decades. John threatened to persecute someone for RICO violations if Jason didn’t work for the FBI.
While it’s not yet clear exactly who Jason was protecting or what the exact nature of their agreement was, it’s clear that John knows much more about Jason than he has led everyone to believe.
General Hospital Spoilers – Anna Devane wants answers!
While it’s possible that John is behind the assassination attempts on the mob and is using Jason as a mercenary, it seems much more likely that Jason is working undercover under John’s orders to take the real threat down.
If that’s the case, then Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will figure out the truth sooner rather than later. Anna will rightfully believe that John is hampering her own investigation and will demand answers from John. But will John actually come clean?
