General Hospital spoilers suggest Lois Cerullo’s (Rena Sofer) return to Port Charles is going to catch a few people off guard. But her presence will shake up Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) life far more than she could have ever expected.

Learning that her little girl was in trouble and suspecting she was used as a scapegoat by her grandmother, Lois was never going to let that fly. But her intentions to fix things for Brook Lynn may fall by the wayside as she finds herself on a new mission in town soon —- to fix things for Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).

Believing she can jog Eddie Maine’s (Wally Kurth) memory and knock some Ned back into him, Lois might be willing to hang around and give it her best effort.

But when she finds herself drawn to Eddie like no time has passed, Brook Lynn may struggle to reconcile how she feels about it. At the same time, she’ll feel inclined to defend her mother, which might lead to quite the scuffle as Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) dares to call her out.

Just a couple of weeks ago, we saw Brook Lynn unabashedly encourage her stepmom, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), to go after what she wants — even if that’s Eddie.

He is Ned, after all. She’s not cheating when she’s falling for a new version of her husband. Is there any better possible scenario than Olivia finding herself in love with Ned’s alter ego — you know, just in case he comes back from the rock ‘n’ roll side?

Ideally, sure, but when Lois comes into the picture and starts looking like she’s keen on Eddie, too, Brook Lynn might waffle on when she thinks cheating is okay. Hey, Lois had him first, right?

It seems like Brook Lynn and Chase just can’t catch a break in their relationship where everything stays consistently good — and this won’t be any different.

Olivia wants Eddie. Lois wants Eddie. Brook Lynn may start to like the idea of keeping her mom around and seeing her parents back together again — well, sort of. Seeing Eddie through her mom’s eyes could spin the situation in Brook Lynn’s eyes, too. But Chase is no fan of cheating.

Does Brook Lynn have such a short memory that she’s forgotten what Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) put her man through? And what about when he learned his big brother, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), had a tryst with his stepmother — Chase’s mom?
