General Hospital News: Marcus Coloma Is A Huge Fan Of His On-Screen Leading Lady, Maura West
General Hospital spoilers say that while Ava Jerome certainly isn’t a very popular person in this fictional town of Port Charles, it’s without a doubt that her portrayer, Maura West, is one of the most beloved and well-respected actresses in daytime television. At least, that’s what her co-star Marcus Coloma (Nikolas Cassadine) thinks as he makes it no secret that he is a huge fan of his leading lady. Here’s what he has to say.

Even though Nikolas and Ava have spent a lot of time either loving each other or loathing one another, Marcus says that he feels absolutely grateful every day that he gets to work with a legend in the making like Maura West. In fact, he says that his respect and admiration for the actress grows more and more every day.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, the handsome actor puts it this way, “She takes these printed words on a piece of paper and she fills it with so much. I love the writing at GH and I’m just always impressed with what Maura brings. She’s so interesting to watch and so deep emotionally and I think she’s just an incredible, professional actress. She is also a super warm and generous. She’s won three Emmys and she’s been doing daytime for so long and I’ve never one felt like the new guy around her.”
Marcus went on to say that Maura is definitely one of the most supportive people she’s ever worked with, both on screen and off. The actor also says that he is definitely paying attention to what all of Ava and Nikola’s fans are saying out there and especially in the comments section of the internet.

He continued, “I really feel like I’ve lucked out. It is so gratifying to see people becoming ‘Nava’ fans and to see comments like, ‘They are my favorite should on the show.’ They are the reason why I am watching.’ That’s just the biggest award that you can get as an actor.”

I have to say I hate what they doing to Marcus he don’t deserve this and if he want to work with Maura the writers should let him he say he is a huge fan of hers why the writers trying to destroy that I think they look good together bring ppl back it’s not the way to go if you do that he probably will want to leave if say he want to work with her let him work with her for now plz then Tyler might have to come back Marcus might be leave if he can’t work with his on screen lady love it looking forward to quit then they have to bring Tyler back don’t just bring ppl back bc some might now have the chemistry with Marcus most of them did with Tyler some just doesn’t have it with Marcus
I was impressed with what Marcus said about Maura West.She is a great actress and they are great as a couple on GH.Almost anyone that they would interview would say that she is warm and caring.GH writers,you have a strong power couple,don’t mess it up!
