General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos” (Maurice Bernard) arrest in the middle of the Metro Court restaurant floor shocked both Sonny’s friends and family.

Kristina Davis-Corinthos (Kate Mansi) tried to protest while Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) tried to keep the peace. But everyone was visibly shaken.

But no one more so than Sonny’s fiancé Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). While Nina is aware of Sonny’s mobster lifestyle, this is really the first time she’s had to handle the fallout first-hand.

And it may be more than she can handle!

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Is Well-Acquainted With Sonny Corinthos’ Lifestyle!

Sonny was married to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) for many years. Although she didn’t necessarily like the lifestyle, Carly grew accustomed to it over the years.

This is certainly not the first time that Sonny has been arrested and Carly would know how to handle the situation with her hands tied behind her back.

But Sonny and Carly have divorced, so Nina’s response to Sonny’s arrest may be quite different than Carly’s.

Sonny has done his best to separate his business interests from his relationship with Nina, but now things are starting to collide.

There is no doubt that Nina loves Sonny. She was willing to hide the fact that he was alive and living with amnesia in Nixon Falls for months before the truth came out.

One of the reasons Nina justified her lies was because it gave Sonny a life away from the mob. But as soon as Sonny returned home, he returned to his criminal activities and Nina seemed willing to accept it, at least at face value. But things are very different now too.

Sonny Corinthos Had A Very Public Arrest!

Sonny’s very public arrest in front of Nina, as well as everyone inside the restaurant. Nina may finally realize just how dangerous and uncertain Sonny’s business is.

Sonny and his family could always end up as a target. And there is potential for an arrest at any time.

Although Nina certainly has some secrets of her own, it seems possible that this dose of reality could cause her to walk away.

She may love Sonny, but that doesn’t mean she wants to live the rest of her life with one eye open.
