General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: If Esmé Is Really Pregnant, Why Didn’t She Tell Ryan?
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that if Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is really pregnant, why didn’t she tell Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom)? Didn’t she think her birth father would want to know he was going to be a grandfather, and especially who the baby daddy is?
General Hospital Spoilers – An Evil Agenda
It was Ryan’s original plan to have Esmé seduce Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) so that Ava Cassadine (Maura West) would leave Nikolas and turn to him. Like that would ever happen, but if Esmé is pregnant with Nikolas’ baby why wouldn’t she tell Ryan about it? She didn’t look all that pregnant when she dropped in on him at Spring Ridge, although there was much discussion about Ava being the first attack victim of “The Hook”.
Ava herself had visited Ryan a couple of days before and told him, and Ryan accused Esmé of attacking her. However, Ava had also implied Esmé was dead and Ryan was glad she was alive, and she got close enough to him that he could have seen a baby bump.
General Hospital Updates – She Fooled Nikolas Cassadine
Her father didn’t have a lot of money to help her so she had another plan; rob the Cassadine safe. She managed to get to Spoon Island, seeing her worst threat Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) was dead, perhaps at her hand, perhaps not. She then managed to get into the castle after Ava went to get her things and warn Nikolas of another victim, leaving the door unlocked when she left. Esmé saw when Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) escorted Ava out and she went through the door, and headed for the safe. Nikolas caught her and she soon informed him she was pregnant with his child, and although he wanted tests, he believed her.
A Pregnancy Plot?
Ryan and Esmé had agreed on a plot, a change in plans and he agreed to change his method of doing something. Perhaps the “pregnancy” is something Ryan himself suggested and it’s not even real; when Esmé was locked in an unused area of Wyndemere she’d requested a computer. Chances are, Ryan perhaps was going to fake a pregnancy test for her somehow get into General Hospital’s computer system, and put it in the records.
Esmé would have needed the computer to access those records so she may be foiled for the time being, but possibly not for long. Ryan could have still had Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) log in and password to the GH system if he didn’t think to change it since then.
