General Hospital – Sydney Mikayla Speaks On GH Exit
General Hospital’s Sydney Mikayla spoke with Soap Opera Digest about her exit from General Hospital. Sydney began playing Trina in 2019 has decided to leave General Hospital to focus on her academic career. Mikayla is in her first year a UCLA. General Hospital Executive Producer, Frank Valentini, told Soap Opera digest, “Sydney asked to leave in order to focus on college.
We love her and are sad to see her go, but of course, support her decision and wish her the best.” Sydney said, “I have loved working on GENERAL HOSPITAL, but I feel like this is the right time to dive in and enjoy my college experience to the fullest. The cast has become family and bringing the character of Trina to life has been one of the best experiences of my career thus far. Thank you to Frank and the entire team for believing in me and giving me this wonderful opportunity. I will miss working with everyone every day, but I am excited to see what is to come for the show.”
General Hospital – Sydney Mikayla Has Been On Reoccurring Status
General Hospital’s Mikayla went on reoccurring status last October. Mikayla started college last fall and was attempting to juggle both school and work. However, it seems that she had decided the school needed more attention than she thought. Now that Mikayla has left General Hospital she can enjoy the full experience of her first year of college. We certainly wish Sydney luck with school.
General Hospital – Who Is Tabyana Ali?
General Hospital has cast Tabyana Ali as Trina, but who is Tabyana? Tabyana Ali’s credits include Empire Waist, The Big Show Show, Horror Noire, Shimmer and Shine, The Big Brain, A Kid Called Mayonnaise, Line of Duty, and Somebody Up There Likes Me. Ali appeared as a contestant on the Disney game show Win, Lose, or Draw. Tabyana will begin sometime after March 17th which is Mikayla’s last airdate. Valentini says, “We’re excited to welcome Tabyana Ali and see what she’ll do with the role of Trina.”
Trina has been arguing with Jocelyn over her issues with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Tabyana is jumping right into a front-burner story and will hit the ground running. Good Luck Tabyana and welcome to General Hospital.
