General Hospital spoilers reveal that Ryan Paevey, who played Nathan West, has recently opened up about Nathan’s return. Is Paevey off contract with Hallmark and willing to come back to G.H?
General Hospital – Maxie Jones Needs Nathan West
General Hospital’s Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) has found herself in over her head with Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Maxie traded herself for her daughter Louise Jones (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) to keep her baby safe. Maxie gave her daughter to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) months ago to keep her away from Peter.
However, Peter has also threatened Maxie’s son as well. Maxie needs a hero and Nathan has been the best one she has ever had. Maxie needs Nathan’s strength and support to take down Peter. Is Nathan about to come back from the dead to help the love of his life? Could Nathan’s ghost at least make an appearance to help Maxie cope with her situation? Would Nathan give Maxie the confidence to be able to save herself?
GH – Paevey Is Open To Return
Recently, General Hospital’s alum, Paevey, revealed that he would be open to coming back in the powers that be invited him to resurrect Nathan. However, when Paevey left G.H. is was to pursue other acting avenues. Paevey had signed a deal with Hallmark movies but it doesn’t seem that he has made many recently. Paevey’s last Hallmark movie was released in October, 2021. Is Paevey still on contract with Hallmark Channel? Is Paevey open to returning to General Hospital’s because of the slow done in movies that he stars in?
General Hospital – Ryan Paevey Could Jump Ship
The General Hospital alum could join other Hallmark actors who have jumped ship to GAC Family as well. Paevey could have more time for other projects in this move and manage to come back as Nathan for a short time. After all, Paevey didn’t seem to be willing to return to soaps in the past at all. Paevey had spent the four years he had allowed himself as a soap actor and moved on. Now Paevey say he “wants the fans to have what they want and he wants that too.” Does Paevey miss his G.H. family and want to return to the fold? Is Paevey not getting the work he expected at Hallmark and wants to come back to something comfortable to him?
Now that Paevey could be open to a return, perhaps Nathan can come back from the dead and get rid of his brother for good. Will we see Paevey on G.H. in the near future?

Bringing back Nathan would be great to me. He and Maxi were a great couple. Other fans don’t seem to like the possibility of a union with Maxi and Spinelli but like the idea of Nathan being resurrected. Don’t know if these writers are up to pulling it off. The resurrection of Victor wasn’t too bad but there was no proof Victor had died like in the case of Nathan’s demise. Whatever, it is a soap and open to the idea of Nathan returning now.
