Nancy Lee Grahn, General Hospital‘s Alexis Davis, has been a busy girl on social media. First, she shared a sweet anecdote about Tristan Rogers, who passed away, and then she also shared a charity post. The charity pic got a lot of likes and many comments.
A Sweet Charity Post
On Friday, the real-life Alexis Davis took to her Instagram profile page and shared a sweet photo of herself holding a cute pup. She wore some shades, a red cap, a black top, and a pup draped over her arm.
In her caption, the ABC star wrote, “Stopped by @missyclaireegan charity event for Dharma Rescue for Dogs and Cats. A non profit that rescues and rehabilitates disabled dogs and cats. This is coco and I love her…”
Did She Get A New Pup?
Although fans asked if the GH star took Coco home with her, she didn’t reply. Perhaps she didn’t because she already has a rescue pup. You might remember that she welcomed her rescue dog, Dillon in early 2021.
Often, she posts updates of her “Dillon Doll” on social media. The pup came from Guide Dogs of America. And when the wildfires threatened LA earlier this year, Nancy Lee Grahn reassured fans that both she and Dillon were safe.
Fans Give Thumbs-Up
In just a few hours, 2K GH fans like the post. While many of them hoped like crazy that Coco had found a new forever home, others praised her for supporting the charity. One of the organizers personally thanked her, saying, “Thank you SO MUCH for coming, you are a rockstar,” and added three red heart emojis.
Here are a few other reactions from the discussion area:
- It was great seeing you today. The animals were so sweet and loving. Amazing charity.
- What a sweetheart!!
- I think Coco loves you too.
- We rescued our baby 12 years ago and he’s our kid. Couldn’t love him more… you need to adopt that cutey.
- Dillon needs a little sister.
- I think it’s a match made in heaven…
- Would if I could house them ALL!!!! God bless the rescuers!!!!
Find Out More About Dharma Rescue
Dharma Rescue for Dogs and Cats is loved for the work they do because they rescue animals from the kill lists at other shelters. Quite often, the dogs they take in are disabled and are given a chance at rehabilitation. In fact, some of them end up being used as therapy dogs.
Cats and elderly dogs are often placed in homes, but if not, they are assured of a kinder ending than being on a kill list. Some of them are kept by the organization and are showered with loving care.
