General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Michael Corbett responded to rumors that he’s reportedly joining the cast of the soap. The actor made a comment after reading an article about him on Celebrating the Soaps, wherein he’s supposedly joining GH as a member of the Novak crime syndicate.
According to the report, the actor would join General Hospital sometime this fall. And if he does reprise his role in Ryan’s Hope, Michael Pavel Jr., then he may either be another associate of the Novaks or an enemy of the syndicate. If it’s the latter, he could work with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) to bring the Novaks down for good.
The legendary soap actor reposted the story on his Instagram account and captioned, “Ha! Looks like I am a rumor today. How fun! Thanks! The actor neither confirmed nor denied the news and General Hospital has not released any official announcement regarding his casting.
General Hospital and Ryan’s Hope
Fans may recall that General Hospital dropped some links to Ryan’s Hope. The soap had Delia Ryan Coleridge (Ilene Kristen) on as the mother of Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West). Then Joey Novak (Patrick Zeller), probably a relative of Ryan’s Hope Joe Novak, was first seen in Charlie’s Pub. More recently, Ryan’s Bar, the main location in the soap opera Ryan’s Hope, was recently visited by Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patric Stuart).

But for now, fans can look forward to many exciting scenes in the coming weeks. Spoilers Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will be in shock when Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) shares a memory he recalled after picking up the cap at New York Methodist Hospital.
Viewers know that Nina has developed strong feelings for Sonny, who’s living as Mike in Nixon Falls after losing his memory. She’ll fear that Sonny may get his memories back, which would mean the end of their budding romance.
As for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), Austin Gatlin Holt’s (Roger Howarth) will help him reach the gatehouse. Austin will also urge Chase to tell Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) about his progress so she’ll have hope. However, Chase may end up catching Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) in a compromising position. The pair have been growing closer together and it’s only a matter of time before Chase finds out about it.
