General Hospital (GH) fans found out that Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) had a problem in Tennessee back in mid-February. And since then, the news led to confusion, outrage, and concern for the ABC daytime actress. New updates rolled in this week. Read on for more details.

The New Updates

Tons of social media posts discussed the issues that Kirsten had with her ex, Brandon Barash. There was retaliation fear. And a TMZ article about alleged eviction.

Well clearly, Kirsten Storms followed the articles written about her. That’s because on Monday, she issued a statement on social media.

In her post on Instagram that came with a card meme statement, she talked about how folks blamed Brandon. The real life Maxie Jones said in her caption:

GH/work and life update…

A Long Statement

The statement though long, basically pointed to the GH star disputing reports about the timing of an alleged apartment break-in and says the matter is being investigated.

In part, she noted it was reported to the building and Franklin PD before any court action.

Additionally, Kirsten Storms claimed someone repeatedly entered her residence while she was away.

Apparently, evidence was available relating to her WiFi and cellphone.

The Strongest Reveals?

The strongest part, apart from focus on her daughter, came when she said, “This has been an eye opening experience about the downside of my profession.”

GH fans naturally wonder now about an eventual return to the ABC daytime soap. That’s because she also wrote: “I can’t say I will feel comfortable heading back to Los Angeles and returning to work.”

Notably, fans should probably take on board that Kirsten Storms didn’t directly blame Brandon Barash for the break-in.

Instead, she refered to “something my ex-husband is currently trying to claim.” And disputes the timing narrative in the media.

Reactions From fans

In the comments section, many General Hospital fans quickly had their say.

One of them penned:

Before anyone blames Brandon 1. He filed that lawsuit to protect his daughter and notice how she didn’t say anything regarding that which makes me believe that there was some truth in it. He hasn’t posted a post on Instagram since April 23 before the news came out. 2. Also realize that there is a difference between filing the lawsuit and publishing it…

Here are a few more responses to the post by the General Hospital star:

  • All I can say is, I truly hope that you get the help you need Kirsten, if your daughter really is your number one priority.
  • If he thinks you have a mental health issue please take it seriously and get help.
  • I’m sorry you’re going through this…. I’ve been a fan of yours since the Zenon days…. Sending you all the positive and good vibes mama.

But the overwhelming question by soap fans might lead to only more speculation about a potential return to the show.
