Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain) from General Hospital has been in Budapest, and the ABC star made some time for a fun activity while he was in the Central European city in Hungary. Read on for more details on why he wore a big smile.
Why Is Cameron In Budapest?
At the beginning of December, Cameron reminded his GH fans that he was in Budapest filming a Christmas movie. A Sweet Christmas Anniversary will air next year, and he and Candace Cameron Bure film to reprise their roles as Sam and Sophie.
Several behind-the-scenes photos arrived, and now, he’s taken some downtime, himself, to go out doing winter season things. After all, all work and no play makes Cain a dull boy. On Instagram on Sunday, he shared what he got up to.
Ice Skating In A Magical City
In his post, the real-life Drew Cain told his hospital fans he’d never skated there before. He shared some shots of himself on ice wearing skates.
Then, in his caption, he said:
Skating in the heart of Budapest—surrounded by history, lights, and hundreds of people:) One of my favorite things to do at Christmas time … first time doing it in this beautiful city.

While Drew, the character on the ABC daytime drama might be universally hated, GH fans don’t all hate the man himself. One GH follower told Cameron Mathison, “You are a great human!! Enjoy Cameron!! Looks so fun!”
