General Hospital (GH) star Laura Wright (Carly Spencer) recently visited Portland, Oregon, for a live fan event. But she stayed in the area for a bit, and folks who live there loved her post about the area.
The Meet & Greet
At the meet-and-greet event at the Helium Comedy Club, GH fans saw that she and co-star James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine) shared some facts about their characters in the ABC show.
They also dropped a few hints at what might happen next in the daytime soap.
But Laura often shares her more personal life with her many fans. So, she took to her Instagram account on Monday and posted some pics that showed where she stayed and some of the things she enjoyed doing in the Portland area.
A Photo Carousel
One photo showed that Laura Wright enjoyed time at Powell’s Books. And General Hospital fans know from old photos that she’s a bit of a bookworm.
Another photo showed her with Wes Ramsey and James, while a further reel revealed Wes dancing in the street. Additionally, she revealed she stayed at Lake Oswego.
In her caption, Laura wrote, “A great time was had by all !!!!! Lake Oswego is just gorgeous ❤️✨ and thank you for sharing the double toe heel with us @wes_ramsey.”

Recent Storylines
Laura Wright remains very popular in real life, no matter what her character gets up to on General Hospital. Her recent storylines revolved around Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos).
Celebrating The Soaps shared in their recap that Sonny hoped to see Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) lose his bid on the piers. Carly bid on Piers 55 & 56.
Meanwhile, it was her daughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), who won the bidding war, and now Laura’s character seems torn between Sonny and Josslyn.
