General Hospital (GH) star Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) is currently away from the ABC show, but it seems that in her personal life, troubles persist. This week, more bad news came from her on social media.
The New Development
On Wednesday, Kirsten took to her Instagram and shared a screenshot of conversations about TikTok. It turned out that she was explaining to her GH fans that she doesn’t have a TikTok account.
In her caption, she said, “This is NOT me. No TikTok account. That app is too confusing for me. Plz message me or leave a message with a user name if you see it on there.”
Then she tagged @Meta, @Instagram, and @TikTok.
A Fake Account Fix
Tagging them might not cause any great rush to help the General Hospital star with her problem. TikTok and other social media sites grew a rep for not being particularly helpful, with users complaining that they had to jump through hoops.
Some ABC fans knew exactly the frustration that Kirsten Storms is going through. One fan said, “Lots of fake actress accounts on TikTok. I try to report them, but they say not breaking any rules. I wish TikTok would do better and delete the fake account.”
What Was On The TikTok Account?
Other followers talked about how the account seemed to be advertising crochet and other handcrafted products. Everyone knows that Kirsten enjoys doing that sort of work. But others said they looked for it and the account had disappeared.
Currently, there is an account on TikTok with Kirsten’s face on it, but no posts are showing. Hopefully, the warning about the fake account gets some wings, because of all people in the show, Kirsten Storms probably wouldn’t want any of her fans to end up scammed by a fake account.
Plenty Of Problems
Kirsten went through a lot of problems, and fans wish her the best outcome. Firstly, after undergoing surgery for a brain cyst in 2021, she was later diagnosed with a brain aneurysm.
That raised a lot of fears for her health and her future on the show. But then, having moved to Tennessee, things didn’t improve for her.
There was an alleged break-in, along with allegations of hacking in Tennessee.
Clashes With Brandon
She ran into problems with her ex, Brandon Barash. He had filed for custody of their daughter, Harper Rose, in December last year, seeking to change the existing custody arrangements, per US Weekly.
In April 2026, Brandon obtained an emergency restraining order, citing concerns about her mental health and her ability to care for their daughter.
Hopefully, the warning about the fake account gets some wings, because Kirsten Storms probably wouldn’t want any of her fans to end up scammed by a fake account.
