General Hospital’s Cameron Mathison Shares Hiatus Update With Fans
General Hospital spoilers indicate that the cast and crew of the daytime drama are on a scheduled two-week production hiatus, and some are living their best life! A fine example of this is Cameron Mathison, who plays the deplorable Drew Cain! The actor is keeping fans updated on his hiatus fun, and we have all the details below.
Daddy-Daughter Time
As per Mathison’s Instagram handle (and IG Story), the actor is enjoying some daddy-daughter time with his offspring, Leila Mathison.
The two are together in the beautiful Canary Islands in Spain, enjoying the sights and taking in all the beautiful natural surroundings.
There are plenty of selfies of Leila and Cameron on his Instagram Story, as well as some incredible scenic photos of where they are exploring.
There’s also simply a photo of a black-sand beach the two went to, as well as some videos of Cameron splashing in the water (and more).
Some Funny Clips
In addition, there’s a video of Cameron trying to get out of the water. He’s surrounded by rocks, which look kind of slippery, as his daughter warns him to be careful. The caption on the video says, “Getting out of the ocean and walking on lava rocks isn’t easy – I swear”.
Plus, Mathison also added some videos of Leila rocking out to music, singing along, as he drives to their next destination spot. The caption in one of the videos reads, “Daily car karaoke”. It looks like these two are having a blast!
As for Mathison’s alter ego, Drew Cain, he’s not much to anything lately since his “stroke” has left him unable to walk or talk.
This is all thanks to his loving wife, Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen), as she injected him with a drug to make it look like he had a stroke, even though he didn’t.
Now Drew is locked into a personal nightmare, which many fans feel is karma considering the stuff he’s done in the past. With that said, who will save Drew, and how long will he be held prisoner in his own home?

As to whether Drew is getting what he deserves, yes and no. Yes Drew did treat Willow badly by manipulating her and segregating her from all who had a interest in her to feel he was her lord and savior and no one else cared about her. But, there are limitations to everything. I do feel writers have over done Willow’s revenge of Drew and have taken things much to far. Enough is enough. Writers have gotten their point over and are continuing to destroy the Willow so much so, many are forgetting just how much Drew manipulated Willow. I don’t believe Drew even loves Willow she was just a way in his deprived mind to get back at Michael and the Q’s for disowning him. Drew just can’t rationalize that he is the reason the Q’s gave up on him. He made his made his bed and now has to lay in it but in a fashion that is not too rewarding. Hope this story line is concluded sooner than later with no more editions added.
Drew has overstayed his welcome and this storyline is getting old with him and psycho Willow
