General Hospital’s Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain) is HATED by Fans

General Hospital’s Drew Cain is the most hated man in town right now, while fans wonder what happened to him — and take things out on actor Cameron Mathison.

General Hospital’s Drew Gets Worse Every Day

This week has been a bad week for Drew, at least in terms of how horrible he could be. He was awful to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), while also convincing Willow Tait Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) to sign the rights to her children over to him if something were to ever happen to her.

After sleeping with his nephew’s wife on the playroom floor the night his daughter’s mother died, screwing over Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), convincing Willow to use Michael Corinthos’ burns as leverage to retain custody of her kids, and blackmailing Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr), Drew was already persona non grata with the audience. Now, he is picking a fight with Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Mathison is feeling the ire of GH fans.

What Did Drew Really Do To Willow?

When Mathison appeared on an episode of LIVE With Kelly and Mark, he told the married co-hosts that Drew “is not a great guy right now” to which Ripa replied, “he has turned like spoiled milk.

This is a new phenomenon for Mathison, who is used to being the hero and not the heel.

“The only time I’ve ever played a character that’s been disliked this severely on soap operas in my life — and it’s been a stretch, like almost 30 years,” he joked.

Mathison also had an encounter with a fan late last year who threw produce at him for how he was acting with Willow. He also had fans yelling at him on the Hallmark Christmas movie red carpet.

Since Ryan Lavery was such a great guy on All My Children, this is a lot of getting used to for Mathison. Perhaps it will be revealed that Drew is not really Drew after all. Maybe he is really Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin), which would redeem Mathison in fans’ eyes. If Drew is Shiloh, then where is the real Drew Cain?
