General Hospital Star Steve Burton’s Complaints Are Not Adding Up
Is life really that bad for him behind closed doors? That’s what a lot of fans and critics alike can’t help but wonder when it comes to the one and only General Hospital star, Steve Burton.
General Hospital Star Steve Burton’s Complaints Are Not Adding Up
Steve, who is best known for his role as Jason Morgan on the hit ABC soap, has decided to take the last several months off from filming.
While his fans are certainly upset that they are not seeing Jason on the canvas, Steve has his reasons as to why he needed to take a much-needed break.
That’s because he’s been dealing with his on-going custody battle with his ex-wife, Sheree Burton. Apparently, she believes that their daughter Brooklyn was much happier living in California and before Steve decided to move to Tennessee.
Sadly for the two exes, they haven’t been able to see eye-to-eye over the matter and their texts were made available thanks to court documents obtained by TMZ.
The two were arguing over Brooklyn’s summer plans as Sheree put their daughter in a program while Steve wanted to have her travel with him.
In one particular text, Steve even told his ex, “I know your priority is not having her spend time with us. Activities do not Trump time with family. Again this is something you signed and you decided to neglect that and now put it on [Brooklyn] .. and now you get to say dad won’t let you…when you should have said it’s not gonna work.”
Steve Burton Struggled To Live In California
Not only that, but Steve also claims that he was miserable living in California thanks to the high-cost of living and that he also had to commute 20 hours a week to make it to work.
But here’s where it doesn’t add up. If someone like Steve Burton with his General Hospital paychecks can’t make it in California, then who can?
Sure, the commute doesn’t sound like fun for Steve, but at least he has the option to still take his family on vacation while some people are barely making ends meet while living paycheck to paycheck.
So far Steve Burton himself has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
In the meantime, don’t forget that General Hospital airs weekdays on the ABC network. Check your local listings for times.

Steve, I am going to speak to you as plain as I can, talk directly to your daughter about camp that she wanted to go to and about an arranged vacation with you and family.
She evidently went back into the area that you moved out of to move to Tennessee the first time. You can’t fault her for that. When you are planning things that you want to include her in, you have to find out what she already wants to do out there. You chose to move, she didn’t. So you, even though you are the adult and what you say stand, that isn’t the way it is going to be this time. I’m sorry, but she is old enough to have a big say where she wants to spend her time.
