General Hospital Spoilers: WSB’s Dangerous Endgame – Is the Prototype About to Be Weaponized?

General Hospital spoilers and updates pose an important question; what happened to the cold fusion prototype that the late Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) was trying to flee with?

It was nearly ready to go online as he tried to drive away with it in a large truck-is the WSB going to use it?

Shades Of Pikeman Security Group!

When Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) first mentioned the secret project that was being worked on, that the WSB was investigating, he mentioned that the WSB wanted the weapon.

It was Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project and had to do with cold fusion-but when he said they wanted it, he had no idea that Cullum was corrupt and a double agent.

It kind of smacked of Pikeman Security Group, which Jack had been the head of previously, in addition to being the US head of the WSB.

Viewers will remember that because of that under the table trade of WSB weapons of all kinds, he found himself in Pentonville-until he didn’t; might Pikeman still secretly exist and want that weapon?

That was because he threw his old partner, Valentin Cassadine, (James Patrick Stuart) under the bus and suddenly became the station chief of the new office in Port Charles.

What Happened To The Weapon?

The question remains, what happened to the weapon, after the bodies of Cullum and the other casualties were removed, including Cassius Faison, (Ryan Paevey) who actually survived, and presumably left with Z (John Oliver)?

Valentin was intending to dismantle the prototype until he learned it was too late to do so, after Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) was kidnapped and blackmailed to finish it.

It didn’t appear that he had completed that task when he appeared at General Hospital to a thrilled Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke).

Since that was a top priority for Valentin, to make sure that the weapon was non-functional, surely he would have mentioned it-but he didn’t!

Z Took Cassius With Him, Assuming He Agreed To Work For Him

The super top secret cover story was that Cassius didn’t survive, and Z told him he had a choice-to get the death penalty, or work with him.

But what might that work be-did Z think that possibly Cassius would know how to dismantle the cold fusion weapon, since Cesar raised him?

Or does the old Pikeman, who “recycled” WSB owned weapons still exist?

If the WSB really did want the weapon, and it wasn’t just Cullum who wanted it for let’s say, less than noble reasons, who would they use it against?

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) made a good point-the WSB of today is duplicitous as an old school Cassadine!
