General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that for once in his life, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is facing the music for his crimes.
He returned to the land of Port Charles, with Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) in tow, to see his mother Laura Collins (Genie Francis), in light of Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) presumed death.
During their first conversation in a very long time, his mom convinced him to do the right thing and stop running from the police. He agreed, and the last fans saw of him, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) was hauling him to the station.
Still, with Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) also presumed dead, will Nik face major jail time for keeping his baby momma hostage?

GH spoilers hint that as Esme is gone, how would there even be a case at this point? Still, fans may recall that Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) came forward a while back because she was worried about the ramifications of her involvement in Esme’s hostage situation.
She struck a deal with the police so she wouldn’t face any sentencing, so her statement on what happened at Wyndemere with Esme is still on record.
GH Spoilers: No Esme = No One To Press Charges
At the end of the day, this is the land of Port Charles where anything is possible. On the one hand, Nikolas could face prison time, and then there’s also a chance he could get off scot-free.
It really depends on how and where storylines are headed. There’s been no official statement regarding actor Adam Huss’s departure, so whether fans see him on canvas during prison scenes or jaunting around the little town, will remain to be seen.
As Esme is no longer around, there’s no one to press charges against Nik, so there’s a good chance he could get released.
If Nikolas is released, he’ll finally be given a chance at a fresh and clean slate. He’s still mourning the loss of Spencer, but he does have an opportunity to step up and be the father he was meant to be, with little Ace.
