General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will soon receive welcome news. Will her post bone marrow transplant checkup reveal a clean bill of health, meaning she can return to her full life?
General Hospital Spoilers: Willow Corinthos Has Had To Stay In A “Bubble”
After Willow was released from GH, she has had to stay in a “bubble” while her immune system hopefully rebuilds itself after her bone marrow transplant. The gatehouse had to be sanitized, and only a precious few people were allowed to visit, and even close contact with her children was limited. There was a time where she has had to wait to be retested to make sure the transplant “took” for that matter, and for new red blood cell production.
Willow’s time for testing to make sure her transplant “took” and that her immune system is rebuilding itself by making her own new red blood cells has come. She’s positive, yet nervous, hopeful, yet apprehensive-but it’s normal for that to be a mixed bag; all she wants is to be able to go back to normal.
GH Spoilers: Willow Corinthos Goes In For Her Big Checkup
Willow goes into the hospital for her big checkup, which will include lots of blood work and tests. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) goes with her and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) waits as well for results to be shared; Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) wanted to. Carly would have but she’s working on her reinvigoration and rebranding of Kelly’s, to make it again the hotspot of the area like it once was. If it’s positive news, she plans to have a huge party there to celebrate Willow’s full recovery-it’s the least she can do. Amelia and Wiley Corinthos (Bo Harrison, Viron Weaver) are at home with the nanny but Wiley’s anxiously awaiting news while his sister naps.
General Hospital Spoilers: Welcome News Arrives
After much testing and retesting to be sure, Willow and Michael hear the welcome news and share it with everyone. Willow’s been given a clean bill of health, and her immune system is rebuilding itself with plenty of her own new blood cells, red and white in perfect balance. Nina is overjoyed, and they share with the rest of the family and Carly starts planning for a celebration party at Kelly’s.
Finally, after nearly two years of ill health and procrastination on Willow’s part which did nothing but hurt her, she’s over the hurdles. Now it’s time to celebrate and plan that much awaited honeymoon trip to Paris with Michael!
