General Hospital Spoilers: Willow’s Feelings for Chase Destroy Her Plan with Drew & Blow Up Chase & BLQ
General Hospital Spoilers suggest Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) are on thin ice; we just know it! The fan base collectively held their breath earlier this year when Brook Lynn had to tell Chase she had a baby with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
We thought for sure he wouldn’t be able to handle that after learning he was sterile and couldn’t have a baby the old-fashioned way with his wife, but Chase persevered and was there for his wifey, just like he was this past month when Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) had a heart attack.
But in the midst of that ordeal, the truth about Chase’s private support of Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) came to light, and his Mrs. wasn’t all that happy about it. They may have moved on from that conversation, but we expect a bump in the road soon, and here’s why.
General Hospital Spoilers — Chase’s Visit to Willow was a Landmark Moment
When Chase and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) met with Willow in Pentonville last month, the entire exchange left us feeling like something had shifted.
If you noticed, Alexis picked up on it too. There Chase sat, hand in hand with his ex-wife, visiting her off the clock as her own private detective who was bent on making sure she was cleared of all involvement in Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting.
It was more than odd, and the look in Willow’s eyes was more than idle appreciation.
GH Spoilers Claim Willow is Scheming, Not Moving On
Don’t forget that Willow is biding her time. She isn’t head over heels in love with Drew like she once was.
In fact, we don’t even fully know how Willow feels, but we do know she’s been plotting to do whatever she must to get custody of her kids back.
That is her first priority, though it sounds like her second might be dealing with Drew and the hell he brought into her world.
Will Chase help her move on from that? Is she secretly pining for her ex while hitched to the Congressman, and ready to bounce and pounce on Chase as soon as the opportunity presents? Affairs certainly have become her “thing.” Can she keep her feelings for Chase in check long enough to see her agenda through in using Drew?
General Hospital Spoilers — Is Chasing Going Through the Motions?
Hear me out. I’m not saying Chase isn’t every bit as in love with his wife as he was the day he married her, which wasn’t that long ago, but that doesn’t mean he had fully made peace with what happened in his marriage to Willow either.
She destroyed him when she had an affair with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and Chase found out she never really wanted to marry him but did because she thought he was dying, so she indulged his request for love.
Now, if Chase gets another chance to be Willow’s hero and actually earn the love he couldn’t get from her the last time around, he just might take it.
