Right now, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has agreed to help Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) throw Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) for a loop by feeding him fake intel to bring him down.
What happens if and when Willow learns about this alliance? Will she decide to gain the upper hand by derailing their plan?
Willow Cain’s New Scheme
General Hospital spoilers remind fans that during the Thursday, April 23 episode, Willow met with Brennan to secure her stance with him.
She knows that he’s blackmailing Nina with the video footage of her driving around Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) neighborhood the night of his shooting and threatening to expose it.
While Willow can’t be tried again for Drew’s shooting, if that video surfaced, she could lose her comfy congresswoman’s seat and her children.
Power-hungry Willow jogged Brennan’s memory by telling him that she’s on a committee that oversees funding for the WSB. She taunted him by noting that she could cut the money going to the agency and expose him.
Willow also asked Brennan to dig up goods on Drew, but failed to tell him the reason why.
It does feel as if Willow is holding all the cards right to ensure Brennan keeps quiet about that video footage, and works with her, but will she up her game to keep Brennan further under her thumb?
Willow Overhears Nina
Willow is wary of Nina as it is, even though she shouldn’t be. She blackmailed her mom into helping her drug and watch over Drew, although Nina would’ve done it, regardless. Willow innocently asked Nina to give Drew his meds as she went to take a call.
Nina did as she asked, and after the fact, Willow told her mom she shot Drew and is drugging him to keep him in his “locked-in” state. Willow then told Nina that she had her fingerprints all over the syringe, thus implicating her in this crime.
If Willow finds out that Nina is helping Valentin, she’ll put a stop to it all. After all, Willow didn’t like the idea of her mom protecting Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke), which is why she blackmailed her to begin with! Perhaps Willow overhears a conversation between Nina and Valentin? Will Willow run to Brennan and inform him that her mom is feeding him false information? If Willow knows where Valentin is being kept, will she throw him under the bus?
