General Hospital Spoilers: Willow Has To Face That Nina Is Her Mother

General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina breaking some stunning news to Willow while she is still stunned.

General Hospital Spoilers – Guess What Willow?

Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is still filled with irrational hate for Nina Reeves when Nina enters her hospital room to deliver some stunning news. For some reason, Willow has convinced herself that Nina is coming after both of her children, so when Nina tells Willow that she is her mother and she is about to get tested to see if she is a bone marrow donor, she is both shocked and horrified.

Still, it’s a moment that has been a long-time coming for GH fans as Nina has spent the last nine years longing to have the child she instinctively knew was out there, without even realizing there were two of them. She may have had good and bad moments with both Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and Willow, but for some reason, Nina always had a soft spot for both in the end. To Cynthia Waltros, the moment that Nina says the words were cathartic for her.

“Nina has a line — ‘I found out I’m your mother’ — that took so long because I actually had a lump in my throat trying to get that sentence out,” Watros said on January 23, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “Willow goes through the whole, ‘I don’t believe it!’ kind of journey that Nina went on.”

General Hospital Updates – Will Willow Finally Soften?

When Willow finally accepts the truth, she lets Nina know that it changes nothing and she still does not like her at all. In Willow’s mind, they are sworn enemies and that is that.

“Nina says, ‘You can not like me. That’s fine, but I love you. You’re my daughter, and I’m not going to let you die,'” Watros told Digest. “And she goes right to the lab to get her bloodwork done, to see if she can donate bone marrow. The most important thing to Nina at that moment is saving her daughter’s life and she believes that she can.”

If Nina does turn out to be a match, will Willow actually do the sane and intelligent thing and accept her mother’s marrow? Or, will she continue to do irrational things that send her to death’s door? Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see how these stories play out.
