General Hospital Spoilers: Willow Faces Ultimate Test, Betray Drew to Save Michael?

General Hospital: Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen)

General Hospital spoilers reveal Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) may be up the creek without a paddle soon if his ex-wifey, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) doesn’t come through for him.

In a wild turn of events, previews tease that Michael will open his heart to Willow this week. Standing in Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) living room, he lets Willow know he does want her in their children’s lives after all.

The tears in her eyes say it all, as does the paralysis marring her face. Is she about to be rendered speechless as Michael delivers her the one thing she has been longing for at a time when she has just aided in sabotaging him? Can she get Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to change his mind in time to right this course for herself?

Two Steps Forward, Three Steps Back

Willow has been aching to see her babies again, and now Michael is finally ready to open his arms to her and move forward, leaving the courts out of the situation perhaps. But Willow just committed to letting Drew take Michael down, knowing it would likely end with him packing his bags for prison and her getting her children back — even if she had to entertain being coupled up with Drew again for the meantime to make it happen.

Now, she may second-guess that decision. Furthermore, she could be twisted in knots from the guilt she feels — not just for letting Drew take Michael down, but because it’s possible that Willow is the one who shot him in the first place.

GH Spoilers Say Willow is a Cold-Blooded Killer?

Well, almost. The reality is, Drew could have died. This was an attempted murder. Someone tried to take his life, and it may have been the woman who was standing by his side until quite recently.

General Hospital: Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen)

If Willow shot Drew, then it makes sense that she is keen on letting him let Michael take the fall. After all, that would not only land her back with her kids, but it’ll ensure that she doesn’t go down for what she did as long as Drew is insisting someone else — anyone else — did it.

But can she really live with knowing all that she has done? She was already losing it a bit when she snuck into the Quartermaine mansion and absconded with baby Daisy Corinthos Gilmore (Brenden and Evelyn Beimford), and her relishing Sasha Gilmore Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) decision to leave town made her look downright crazy.

Now, potentially having tried to kill her former lover, sets the stage for a very new personality for Willow’s character.

Michael is Innocent?

Michael insists he is innocent, and even Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) wants to believe him. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) most certainly does, but one could argue mothers are biased. Nonetheless, Willow wouldn’t expect that Michael could kill someone either, even though she never expected it from herself.

Knowing her mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), might think she needed an alibi signaled to her that Mommy Dearest just might know how far her daughter has spiraled out of control.

Is she more than her ill-fated twin Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) than anyone thought? Will she have the fortitude to stand up and admit guilt as Drew targets Michael for this crime if she knows she’s the real culprit?

Last week, we would’ve said no way, but now, she’s going to feel burdened with guilt as Michael opens his heart to her again. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
