Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is Willow’s defense attorney and she’s in possession of an anonymous letter that claims Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) was at the scene of the crime and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) knows it.
Will this intel be made available to the jury during the week of December 29-January 2, or when court reconvenes?
This case is so full of tangles, including Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina Robinson’s (Tabayana Ali) presence at Drew’s house the night of the shooting, that we suspect Willow will be found not guilty.
Will Willow be Found Not Guilty?
At the same time, General Hospital spoilers hint that Drew has a flashback to the night of the shooting which means he could remember Willow as the perp.
Let’s assume that Drew remembers after Willow’s acquittal. Or, maybe she blabs out the truth to Drew during an argument. There are any number of ways this truth, if it is accurate, could come tumbling out-the key is at what point in time the news arrives.
Will Drew Turn on Willow?
If Willow is implicated after she is acquitted, she cannot be tried again due to the double jeopardy standard which states that a person cannot be tried twice on the same charge.
This little legal loophole could ensure that Willow remains on the show, instead of being sent to prison. The character has tons of story left to tell, including her custody battle for Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko).
It would also introduce a blazing hot plot in which deadbeat Drew has to confront the fact that
Willow tried to kill him.
