General Hospital Spoilers: Drew’s Sudden Release Shocks Carly, Relieved He is Safe!
General Hospital spoilers tease that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is busy cleaning up after her Halloween Party at Kelly’s Diner when she is startled when someone enters the restaurant even though it was now closed.
At first, Carly panics thinking someone might be breaking in to rob her. But she had forgotten to lock the doors and watched carefully as someone entered the dark restaurant.
But any fear she may have had quickly vanished as she realized it was Drew Cain (Cameron Matheson) making a surprise exit from Pentonville.
General Hospital Spoilers – Drew Cain was shocked that his prison sentence was shortened!
Drew had been sentenced to several years in prison after he was convicted of insider trading, a crime actually committed by Carly. But Drew took the blame and tried to make a deal with prosecutors for a short stint in prison as long as they didn’t charge Carly.
But the authorities went back on the agreement and sentenced Drew to several years in prison instead. However, they did keep their agreement not to charge Carly. However, Carly still ended up with a hefty fine.

Drew and Cain kept their fairly new romance a secret for many months, monthly in an attempt to avoid an investigation into Carly’s crime, especially once Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) constantly threatened to tell the SEC.
Now that Drew is free and the insider trading scandal is behind them, Carly and Drew will finally be able to gp public with their romance.
Although they hadn’t really done a very good job of hiding their feelings for each other, it will still likely shock many Port Charles residents, especially certain members of the Quartermaine family.
General Hospital Spoilers – Drew Cain will slowly adjust to his freedom!
Drew will be grateful when he discovers that his sentence was likely reduced because she had worked with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to prove that the judge who sentenced him may have been bribed to drastically increase the length of the sentence.
Drew will certainly be grateful especially because he has badly beaten in prison and almost died.
Now given a second chance, Drew has someone else he needs to see immediately, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will certainly be pleasantly surprised to see Drew has been released, their daughter Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) will be thrilled that her father is back since she has missed him terribly!
