General Hospital Spoilers reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) feels strongly that he showed Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) great leniency, given the circumstances.
Normally, he doesn’t let someone who betrays him just walk away, let alone someone with so much information on his organization that could be used against him.
He should have known better that Joss would do whatever was necessary to find him, but he probably didn’t think she had the skills to actually do so.
Regardless, Joss’ roll in the hay with Dex is going to prove to be the one thing they need to bring them back together — when a baby is on board.
General Hospital Spoilers — A Parting Gift
When Joss tracked Dex down in the middle of nowhere, she thought her problems were solved. Innocent and naive as Joss can be, she thought their daytime tryst in Dex’s motel room was the end of this horrible nightmare and the beginning of his coming back home.
While Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) last-minute call may have sounded the alarm loudly enough to get Dex to come home with her, it’s going to be rough seas ahead.
The last thing on Joss’ mind is that the time they shared together in that motel room would lead to a nine-month-long journey to motherhood.
GH Spoilers Hint a Surprise Lies Ahead
A surprise pregnancy is the last thing that Joss and Dex were expecting. But knowing there is a baby on board will somehow give them the cover they need to expect leniency from Sonny.
Certainly, the mobster with a heart of gold would never expect Joss to raise Dex’s child without him around, nor expect him to abandon his son or daughter.
However, lately, Sonny is looking a whole lot more like the younger version of himself we knew before Nixon Falls than the reformed version. A pregnancy might not be the only surprise on the horizon.
General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny Shows No Mercy?
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) might have to go to bat for her daughter on this front, but asking Sonny to lay off Dex and put the risk of exposing his organization to such serious harm is no small ask.
Still, Sonny understands the value of family and the importance of a child having both of their parents. So when he refuses to let Dex live anywhere near Joss and their baby-to-be, it’ll throw an entirely new wrench into the already strained family.
Prioritizing Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) over his family was bad enough, but prioritizing his business over them just may permanently sever ties between Sonny, Carly, and their kids.
