General Hospital Spoilers: Will Carly’s Alliance with Valentin Prove Fruitful — or Fatal?
General Hospital spoilers suggest Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is the last person the fans expected to see at Steinmauer prison visiting with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) this week.
Carly didn’t waste any time cutting to the chase about why she was there: She wants to ruin Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), and she trusts that Valentin is the one person who can best help her do it.
It’s an interesting move if you think about it. For the first time in ages, Carly is in over her head and desperate, and she’s not turning to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) or Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to fix this mess for her.
Why Valentin? Is it merely because the enemy of thy enemy is thy friend, or is there something more to this?
Time Heals All Wounds
Carly is in pain right now. She’s grieving the loss of the daughter she thought she knew and the relationship she thought she had with her.
She’s living a lie in her relationship with Jack. She’s even wading through the complex emotional aftermath of learning Jason spent weeks keeping vital information from her about Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) being recruited into the WSB by Jack. Carly has been through hell before.
She knows she’ll get through this, but she’s benton making sure Jack doesn’t. Enter Valentin — the guy who knows enough about Jack to point her straight over target. But will she have the nerve to attack?
This Could Be Valentin’s Ticket Out
Fan theories have gone wild with speculation over the last almost-two years. When Jack burst onto the scene in late 2023, it was instant chemistry between him and Carly. He knew it was going somewhere from way back then.
Besides, this is the kind of guy who is used to getting his way, and likely often does so by way of his own manipulations.
But some fans think he played a bigger role in getting Valentin set up — and locked up.
They were clearly working together, and Valentin ended up with a much shorter stick than Jack, whose prison sentence was not only cut short but essentially erased as though it never happened.
Could getting Jack out of the way somehow free Valentin from his current stint in Switzerland? We’re dying to see him back in Port Chuck where he belongs!
\Making It Out Alive
There are indeed lives on the line here. It wouldn’t be unusual for a prisoner like Valentin to turn up dead in his cell, and that is something Jack might be able to arrange.
At the same time, it seems like Valentin has some kind of protection around him, almost like he’s the one wearing the pants, not Jack. So if Valentin isn’t at risk, who is? His bold-faced statement that he would put Jack six feet under ground if he recruited his daughter to the WSB may be giving Carly some ideas.
Will she actually see it through though? Is she capable of murder? Some fans are starting to think she’s the one who shot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), so anything is possible.
But Carly and Valentin are going to have to be stealthy to get away with scheming against Jack together and not letting him find out.
The WSB has eyes and ears everywhere. We’re already questioning whether Jack knows Carly went to Steinmauer.
Should he find out she’s plotting against him with Valentin, it could be lights out for the both of them! If it comes down to his career, or Carly, which would he choose? If she digs his grave, will she be digging her own too? Keep checking back for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
