General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease there had to be an ulterior motive for Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) to bequeath Ava Jerome (Maura West) a photo of a gargoyle. Intimidation was clearly the reasoning, but was the photo of the same gargoyle statuette she threw at Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) head?
General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Jerome Stayed As Cool As A Cucumber
Ava stayed cool as a cucumber when she saw the photo of the gargoyle that Victor bequeathed her-the photo was fuzzy, like someone took a shot very quickly from a phone. It looked like the gargoyle was laying on a floor looking upwards, and the photo was taken from above the statuette. Indeed, it was a gargoyle statuette that she threw at Nikolas’ head after he pushed her too far, threatening to take Avery Corinthos-Jerome (Ava or Grace Scarola) from her.
It had been a very intense and violent argument between the two of them, and it was like Nikolas’ last ditch effort to regain control. He’d given up everything and signed it over to Ava and that threat to take Avery was his last ugly stab.
GH Spoilers: Did Victor Cassadine Know Something About Nikolas Cassadine’s “Death”?
No one knew that Nikolas was dead-or at least Ava thought she’d killed him, Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) got there when she was trying to hide his body. Finally Nikolas was put in the tack closet of the Cassadine stables and locked in, and later they found out either he came to and left or his body was moved. Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Gray) later taunted them, revealing he too had saw the whole thing-but he didn’t reveal he had Nikolas on life support, reporting to someone.
During the remainder of Victor’s pre-recorded will reading, he talked about his grandnephew Nikolas-he talked about him needing a home away from home, and an envelope was handed to Spencer. It sounds like Victor did know about Ava’s throw of the gargoyle to Nikolas’ head, because where Mason has him on life support could be Nikolas’ home away from home!
General Hospital Spoilers: Sleeping Beauty Has Everything He Needs
Could Victor have been the unknown person Mason was talking on the phone to when it was revealed Nikolas was alive, although on life support? He told the person “Sleeping Beauty has everything he needs”- like in a home away from home. As far as Mason’s “family” and female boss, perhaps she had Cassadine connections, yet unrevealed.
The letter Spencer was given was in Russian, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) read it and saw it was a deed to a property with an address. Could that address be where Mason’s caring for Nikolas—or is it just another trap?
