General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease a vengeful Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) may push for a mayoral recall against Laura Collins (Genie Francis). In Portia’s eyes, anyone who is assisting a five-time murderer to get out of prison like Heather Webber (Alley Mills) cannot be fit to be mayor!
General Hospital Spoilers: Laura And Heather Are Not Related
Portia tore into Laura accusing her of trying to get Heather exonerated because they are relatives, but in reality nothing could be further from the truth.
Laura’s adoptive father Rick Webber (Chris Robinson) was Jeff Webber’s (most recently William R. Moses) half-brother and he was Heather’s first husband.
The connection between Laura and Heather would be step-half-aunt and niece at best-they share no blood ties, but Portia either doesn’t know or chooses to ignore that fact.
Nor does Portia know Heather’s history other than the past five years or so and doesn’t account for Laura knowing Heather before the faulty hip replacement.
Heather tried to murder Diana Taylor (Brooke Bundy) with LSD but drank the drugged iced tea herself, thanks to a toddler version of Steve Webber (Scott Reeves).
GH Spoilers: Laura Isn’t Trying To Get Heather Acquitted Of Everything, Only What The Cobalt May Have Caused
Portia doesn’t believe Laura when she tries to explain that she only wants the court to look at Heather’s crimes that may have been influenced by the cobalt poisoning.
Portia’s lumping it all into the same thing, and that’s not how it happened. Heather has always been manipulative; all Portia needs do is to talk to Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) about what happened to her-Heather stabbed her with a syringeful of LSD.
Heather didn’t approve of Olivia’s engagement to Steve-and if Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) were alive to tell it, he tried to bury Heather alive and solve the problems.
There is no way in the world Laura is trying to get Heather exonerated for those crimes, which she was still serving time for when she became the Hook!
General Hospital Spoilers: Portia Talks To Deputy Mayor Jordan Ashford
Portia and Deputy Mayor Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) have never had the smoothest of relationships, mostly it’s been one of romantic rivalry.
But she does advise Jordan of her plan to start a recall campaign against Laura for her actions of “excusing” Heather’s murders. Portia will be sure to bring up that Laura shielded an amnesiac Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) for months, feeling certain Esme was faking amnesia all along.
Has Portia forgotten it was her own daughter Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) who dropped Esme’s charges that she was blamed for regarding the sex tapes?
Who’s next on Portia’s “hit list”, her own daughter for dropping those charges, since Esme was Heather’s daughter?
