General Hospital Spoilers: Valentin Realizes Anna’s Still Brainwashed – Can He Save Her Before It’s Too Late?

General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) recognizes Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) is still brainwashed. Can he get his former lover and years-long friend to accept some help?

Anna Had A Panic Attack When Talking With Valentin, Carly And Jason

Anna had a panic attack when talking with Valentin, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), and she definitely is suffering from PTSD.

Anna was triggered by the question that Carly had about Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy); she asked if the WSB was a good life for Josslyn.

Anna excused herself and immediately fled from the Metro Court Gardens, and headed for the elevator, where Valentin quickly caught up with her.

He knew there was something desperately wrong as she continued in the midst of the panic attack-he asked her what was wrong with her. But will she open up to him, and will she accept some help, if he can help her find the right therapist?

Anna Had Flashbacks During Her Panic Attack

Anna had flashbacks during her panic attack, flashbacks of being captive below Wyndemere and Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) gaslighting her-there were also drugs involved.

Drugging her made her easier to break down, to cause her to hallucinate Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and she even hallucinated Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) giving her phlebotomy for her beta thalassemia!

It didn’t help that Cullum looked like Faison did at that same age-whether he was related to the Faisons somehow never was revealed.

She had flashbacks of the cigarillo in the ashtray freshly lit, and screaming at “Faison” that he was dead, even though by that time she had a hard time believing it herself!

But that’s not all she experiences-the flashbacks are bad enough, but the ongoing hallucinations of Peter August aka Heinrik Faison (Wes Ramsey) are worse!

Anna Sees And Hears Peter Like He Is Alive

Anna sees and hears Peter like he is alive, and he keeps acting like the devil on her shoulder-whispering commands, tempting her to kill-mostly Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

He even “shows up” when she’s with other people, whether it be Valentin, or even her granddaughter Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner). Sometimes Emma has noticed something off and asked questions, which Anna shook off.

But now she has the person who knows her better than almost anyone asking what is going on with her, and Valentin wants the truth, no matter how scary, no matter how brutal.

Anna is not only suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, she’s still brainwashed, and her hauntings by Peter prove it!
