Is it possible for Trina to reach that level of connection with Simon? During the showcase, Simon appeared to be more captivated by Gio’s guitar playing than by Trina’s vocals. He even mentioned this to Brook Lynn, who reminded him that the focus should be on Trina, not Gio.

After their first song, Simon went into the music room and encouraged Trina to perform again, this time urging her to let loose and give it her all.

Although Kai is tied to the storyline involving Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and works for Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen), it doesn’t guarantee that he won’t fade from the scene once the “locked-in” arc concludes.
