General Hospital Spoilers: Trina Will Be Devastated When Spencer Breaks It Off to Chase Esme
General Hospital spoilers reveal Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is going to be floored when Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) tells her he’s moving on — with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Spencer is going to have to do his best to make sure this doesn’t come totally out of left field. Right now, Trina is mildly concerned about him living under the same roof as his ex again, but Spencer has assured her she has nothing to worry about. That’s all going to change soon, and he’ll have his uncle, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) to thank for helping him.
General Hospital Spoilers — Baby Ace Needs a Father Figure, and So Does Spencer
Spencer can’t stop eyeing Ace as the victim of Esme’s torture upon his family. His father, Nikolas Cassdaine (Adam Huss), seems to have taken an escape route from parenthood once again, and Spencer is happily left to pick up the pieces. If only it were that simple though.
Ace isn’t the only one who is lacking a father figure. Spencer misses his dad, and he hates that he is responsible for much of what Esme rained down upon them because he was foolish enough to let her into their lives. In Nikolas’ absence, Victor will try to step up to the plate and fill his shoes for Spencer.
GH Spoilers Hint Esme is an Easier Target Than She Looks
Uncle Victor’s first order of business is to make Spencer see that Esme isn’t as difficult of an egg to crack as he thinks she is. He just has to be willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Sure, Victor could order a hit on Esme and take her out, but does Ace really need to grow up risking finding out his father’s family killed his mother? It’s simpler if Esme just walks away, or does something on her own accord to screw up her second chance. That’s not going to be hard to produce if Spencer and Victor push the right buttons, and that starts with Spencer warming up to Esme.
General Hospital Spoilers — Trina is History
If Spencer wants to get inside Esme’s head and learn what he can use to manipulate her, he’s going to have to start by acting like less of an enemy toward her and more of a friend. As they grow to like one another more under the same roof and share in the bonding of raising Ace together, Spencer could be surprised to find that he’s not having to pretend to like Esme as much as he wishes he did. Ultimately, the way to Esme’s heart is by making her think she has Spencers. That means he’s going to have to let go of Trina — who isn’t going to take it lying down. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead to see how this pans out.
